The customer & their requirements

Cogsdill Engineering Ltd based in Nuneaton contacted Blue Sun Energy interested in reducing their grid supplied energy and reducing their monthly spend on grid produced energy helping them become more competitive in their manufacturing processes.

Cogsdill Engineering is a global leader in the precision tooling industry based in Nuneaton, England family owned and run by the 3rd generation.

The install

As a result Blue Sun Energy Ltd installed 70kWp if JASolar 275watt solar panels to the roof of there building on a low profile ground mounted system. The solar PV system was connected to 3x Solar Edge 25kWp PV inverters attached to the 3 phase distribution board.

The end result produces enough power to supply there manufacturing equipment most of the year round and this allows them to be more competitive as they move in to the modern world.
